If your analytics setup isn’t capturing data accurately, you’re not just losing data, you’re losing money and opportunities. Boost your business growth with a certified Google analytics audit
Our google analytics audit agency transform your GA4 property from a confusing data dump into a crystal-clear source of truth. Our audit is a deep-dive investigation into every part of your implementation, designed to uncover the root cause of your data issues and provide a definitive fix.
Our comprehensive Google analytics audit covers every critical aspect of your setup:
What’s included: our 50-point GA4 audit checklist. A poorly structured GA4 property can make it hard to find the data you need. We help clients set up their GA4 accounts for efficient management, establishing strong data governance standards to maintain data quality, support experimentation, and ensure accurate reporting. We also assist with configuring user roles, access permissions, and property settings to safeguard data accuracy going forward.
We verify that your GA4 data is accurate and that tracking is consistently implemented across all website pages and digital assets. This involves a review of all of your GA4 tags, triggers and variables to make sure that the tags are firing and the data accurately flows to Google Analytics.
We help clients to detect and address factors that may distort analytics accuracy, including internal employee visits, automated bot or spam traffic, and self-referrals. Our audit process also involves cross-checking for inconsistencies between Google Analytics data and other back-end systems, such as e-commerce or CRM platforms, to ensure data integrity and reliable performance insights.
It is common that your tracking setup does not cover all of your business goals. Our GA4 audit agency can help you track the missing events so you have all the needed data at your fingertips.
We review your configuration of custom event tracking, including transactions, revenue, product performance, and cart abandonment, to verify that all significant user interactions and purchase behaviors are accurately recorded and reflected in analytics data.
As part of our GA4 audits we verify that integrations with key platforms such as Google Ads, Google Search Console, Big Query, and Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) are properly configured and functioning smoothly to ensure a unified and comprehensive view of overall performance.
If you are operating in the EU, our audits include reviewing your compliance with current data privacy laws, such as GDPR, and verifying that no personally identifiable information (PII) is being unintentionally captured within the analytics setup.
Analyzing current reports and dashboards while developing new, customized reports and audience segments designed to deliver clear, actionable insights aligned with the specific needs of stakeholders.
Whether you’re facing tracking discrepancies, underperforming campaigns, or fragmented reporting, a tailored audit is the foundation for making data-driven decisions and achieving digital success.
Don’t let a technical glitch dictate your business’s growth.
Our team consists of certified Google Analytics consultants whose core expertise is analytics, not a side service. You get a specialist who understands the nuanced difference between a tracking bug and a configuration error.
We deliver a clear, prioritized PDF report and a companion spreadsheet that lists every issue, its business impact, and the exact effort required to fix it, no technical jargon, just clarity.
By identifying problem areas within user journeys, such as pages with high bounce rates, the service contributes to enhancing the overall website experience and user engagement.
We’ve developed a mature, repeatable audit process used by enterprises, which ensures we catch even the most subtle issues that automated tools miss.
We believe in a transparent, methodical process that leaves no stone unturned. Our audit is built on a foundation of best practices and hands-on expertise.

Our audit covers 50 checkpoints across every part of your GA4 setup. We start with your property structure, checking that your accounts, properties and data streams are configured correctly. From there we review your tracking implementation, including your tags, events and any custom dimensions, to confirm that data is actually arriving the way it should. We then examine data integrity, looking for duplicate transactions, missing sessions, unfiltered internal traffic and anything else that could be skewing your numbers. The audit also covers your conversions and key events, your integrations with tools like Google Ads and Search Console, your compliance and consent setup, and finally how your reporting is configured.
Most audits are completed within 5 to 10 working days from the point we get access to your GA4 property. The exact timing depends on the size of your setup. A single property with one website sits at the faster end, while accounts with multiple data streams, complex ecommerce tracking or several connected platforms take a little longer. We’ll confirm a delivery date before we start, and because the audit runs to a fixed scope and a fixed price, that date doesn’t slip. You don’t need to do much during this period either. Once we have viewer access, we work independently and only come back to you if we spot something that needs clarifying.
You receive two things. The first is a PDF report that walks through every issue we found, explains why it matters in plain English, and ranks each one by how much it’s affecting your data. This is written for humans, not just analysts, so you can share it with stakeholders who don’t live in GA4 every day. The second is a spreadsheet containing the full 50-point checklist with a pass, fail or needs attention status against each item, along with specific fix instructions your team can work through. Together they give you both the strategic picture and a practical to-do list. If you’d rather we implement the fixes for you, we can quote for that separately once you’ve seen the report.
Our audit focuses on GA4, since Universal Analytics stopped processing data in July 2023 and Google has now deleted the historic data from those properties. There’s no live Universal Analytics setup left to audit. That said, your Universal Analytics history still matters in one specific way. If you exported your UA data before it was removed, or you’re comparing current GA4 numbers against old UA benchmarks, we can review how well your GA4 configuration maps to your previous setup. Many businesses migrated to GA4 quickly and never checked whether their events, goals and ecommerce tracking carried over accurately, which is exactly the kind of gap our audit is designed to catch.
