Power Pages is the newest addition to the Microsoft Power Platform. You can think of Power Pages as Power Apps that users outside of your organisation can use without any need for a license. The users of Power Pages will interact with them just like with regular websites.
Power Pages have a lot of use cases. Very often we see that Power Pages are used for sharing Power BI reports with external audiences. Power Pages allow businesses to create a professional website environment around the Power BI report. This includes a home page explaining the context of the report, an FAQ page, sign in page, etc.
Power Pages are best used when they are integrated with other Microsoft products like Power BI or Power Automate. We wouldn’t recommend using Power Pages for your marketing websites. However, they are a great option for functional websites that allow you to gather data from your clients, launch internal Power Automate workflows and share Power BI reports.
A typical Power Pages consulting project would start with a kickoff meeting where we learn about the business problem that you would like to solve. We would then break the problem down into a series of specific tasks and estimate the cost of each task. If the estimate works, we can proceed with Power Pages development and deliver your portal according to the planned timeline.
