Case Study 1: Lead Generation Agency

The client is a lead generation agency that runs PPC ads on Facebook and Google. They manage 10+ Google ads accounts and 5 Facebook accounts. All their lead data is gathered in a separate database. They wanted to automate their current reporting and replicate the same look and feel that they had.

Vidi Corp used Windsor.ai to extract data from Facebook and Google Ads together. After connecting these data sources to Windsor, the software generated a link that could be used for data extraction. The link detailed the needed account IDs and also all the columns which we needed for analysis.

Finally, the lead data was extracted from a MySQL database

After extracting the data, we created a data model blending the data from all the data sources inside Power BI.

Finally, we visualised the data in Power BI. We utilised conditional formatting to demonstrate the days when the agency hit their marketing target and when the target was met.

This marketing agency runs one campaign per customer, so we used a campaign filter to filter data by client.

We used our own scripts to extract data from Facebook and Google Ads for our clients. Before we started working together they were spending $700 per month on Supermetrics to extract the data. We replaced Supermetrics using our own code which saved them many thousands of dollars over multiple years.

Our own code aggregated the data for 30+ Facebook Accounts into a single Big Query database.

We then visualised the data in a dashboard and created a client filter, enabling us to view data for individual clients.
