At the very least you would spend around £750 with us if the data is readily available and the analysis is quite routine. If there is no native connector for the data source that you use, we can always build a custom Power BI connector for you. A quick and simple alternative to this is manually extracting the data to Excel before linking it to Power BI. This approach leads to some manual maintenance work in the future but it is quick to set up.
At the very least we would always sign an NDA with our clients. If you want to take data security even further, you can always involve your internal IT specialists or external IT consultants to arrange access to your data. We have seen some of our clients creating virtual machines with certain permissions to organise a work environment for us. These permissions could allow us to read the data but not export it or send any emails. As a result, the client is more in control of how we can use the data. Other clients choose to anonimise the data before providing it to us, removing columns like email address, phone number, etc. Removing personal-identifiable information leads to GDPR compliance.
The first step of your project is to identify the business questions that you want to answer and the data sources that we can use to answer them. This would help us to identify the source and the destination of your journey. The only thing which is left for us to identify is the path. Our Power BI experts would analyse which formulas need to be written to answer your business questions and how to visualise the data effectively. Based on this analysis we will present a Power BI dashboard to you and collect feedback.
